DETOX JUICE RECIPE
BEETROOT JUICE WITH APPLE, CARROT, GINGER, LEMON AND PARSLEY
INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PERSONS

Pieces of fresh beetroot

Apple red or green
·
1
inch piece of ginger
·
1
lemon or lime
·
1
bunch of parsley
·
3
pieces of carrot
METHOD OF PREPARATION
·
First you need to prep the veggies. So, you need to
scrub them and wash them very well
·
GINGER: Cut the one-inch piece of ginger into little
pieces. The ginger adds some tanginess to this juice.
·
APPLE: Cut the apple into large chunks. You could use
either a red apple or a green one.
·
LEMON: Cut the skin of the lemon or lime. Then cut it
to large pieces
·
PARSLEY: Cut
the stems off and use only the top two thirds of the parsley bunch
·
CARROT: Cut the ends off, and then cut the carrots
into large chunks
·
BEETROOTS: You could use the beets either raw or roasted a little. Cut the beetroots into pieces that will fit inside the juicer
or blender.
·
Put all ingredients in the blender
·
Add 3 to 4 cups of water to the mix
·
Do not add any sugar for the beetroots are already
sweet
·
Our blend ready, filter the blended vegetables using a
nut milk bag or any other filter you have.
·
If the mix is too thick, you can add some water
